Sanaz Fatemi is a Persian / American actress. Often known for her "unpredictable and confident" performances, she made her film debut in 2016 Actor Martinez. Born in Tehran, Iran, she was selected to attend National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET) schools at a very young age. Her fondest memory of her years at the organization is when she starred in the play Arash the Archer. Nodet schools considered a talented mind to mainly crave math and physics, and although she was good at both, she followed her passion for English literature in university, something she could intuitively feel and understand. While pursuing her MA in Media Arts at University of Denver, she gained attention in the film community for "pushing boundaries or norms with her work, and unique look." She moved to Los Angeles in 2017, where she appeared on stage for Vasht, a historical overview and exhibition of Persian dance. Sanaz enjoys practicing Aikido, a martial art that focuses on love, the life force, and the Way. She spent the past couple of years in the beautiful Mount Shasta, the mystic mountains at the northern edge of California, for self-contemplation and developing her talent at healing arts. She often borrows Wordsworth's definition of poetry as "the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings recollected in tranquility", and extends it to a good performance: A powerful outpouring of emotions from a well-balanced mind that can empower anyone. Just as a wave of light illuminates everything on its path without discrimination.
